Hollow Bird Press accepts original short fiction and novel excerpts in English from January to April 2026, and in Spanish from July to November. All genres of fiction are welcome as long as the work is unpublished and submitted in standard manuscript format.
BIOGRAPHIES
ENGLISH
We invite concise, narrative-driven biographical works focused on compelling real lives. Submissions in English are open from January to April, and submissions in Spanish from July to November.
CRIME
ENGLISH
We seek crime fiction that emphasizes strong plotting, tension, and character depth. Crime story submissions in English are accepted from January to April, and in Spanish from July to November.
COMICS
ENGLISH/CASELLANO
We accept comic scripts or finished short comics that display clear storytelling and strong visual direction. Comics may be submitted in English and in Spanish from April to July.
